ARTIST STATEMENT
Flowers are weaved throughout our lives, witnessing our journey.
My pilgrimage as an artist is to share all that I perceive with others using inspiration that comes from simplicity and strength. What better subject matter to depict those qualities than through the journey of botanical evolution. What was once a decorative fixation on flowers, pursuing sinuous shapes and colors, has now become a bridge to discover an entangled impassioned connection. For me, these organic remembrances dance their way throughout my psyche, which compels me to investigate my emotional subconscious connection with them.
